And now for Sunshine's birthday interview. Once again, we actually filled out the interview within a week or two of her birthday, it has just taken me ages to actually post it. Sunshine's answers are in black, any of my notes are in blue!

9. What is your favourite animal? Elephant

10. What is your favourite song? Roar by Katy Perry

11. What is your favourite book? Chrysanthemum (By Kevin Henkes... she is a big fan of all of his books)

12. Who is your best friend? Abby & Audrina

13. What is your favourite cereal? Frosted Flakes

14. What is your favourite thing to do outside? Kick a soccer ball

17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? Josefina and my big blanket
(Sunshine's "big blanket" is just a jersey knit flat sheet that she grabbed from my room one day and has slept with ever since)

18. What is your favourite thing to eat for breakfast? Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches

19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? “Spicy chicken” and rice (tortilla crusted tilapia)

Beebs At Four

I am a lover of traditions, and one of our big birthday traditions is a yearly photo session with mom and a birthday interview. Well, this year hasn't gone quite as planned and here we are in June and I still haven't made the time for a photo session dedicated specifically to taking the girls yearly photos. I did, however, interview them within a week or two of their birthdays, and it is high time I got those posted. I figured I'd start with Beebs...

4. What is your favourite tv show? Mickey mouse  (This is actually Man Cub's favourite. Beebs likes Mickey Mouse, but I wouldn't say it's her favourite!)

5. What is your favourite thing to eat for lunch? macaroni

6. What is your favourite outfit? Jaguar print clothes (True statement! The girl lives for animal print.)

7. What is your favourite game? bingo

8. What is your favourite snack? Pirate booty

12. Who is your best friend? Peter (Barker)

(Chew blankies are Aden and Anais muslin blankets that she chews on the corner of and Lilly is her jaguar Scentsy buddy.)

18. What is your favourite thing to eat for breakfast? donuts

19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Cheesey bread and cookie dough from Papa Murphy's

20. What do you want to be when you grow up? I don't know! I want to stay with you.
(Usually her answer to this question is "a doctor for animals and I'll live next door to Sunshine's farm and take care of all her animals", but I appreciated that when we did the interview, the answer was that she wants to stay with me Ü)

21. What is your favourite thing to do inside? Play with Little People
(And "Darbies" and Disney Toys and Groovy Girls... she has a very elaborate world she has created in her little playroom)

Oh What Do We Do In The Summertime

 I am a little late getting this made, but today I finally finished {and started Ü} designing our annual summer fun list. My girls LOVE this list. We started doing this the summer before Sunshine started Kindergarten because I was determined not to waste a second of our precious time together before she became a big girl and headed off to school. We had so much fun coming up with a list of things we wanted to do that summer, and then crossing them off as we did each item, that it has become our most loved summer tradition.

Several weeks ago, the girls and I started putting together this year's list of summer activities and after Sunshine asked me many times where the actual printed list was, I decided to make time this afternoon to get it done. I am so happy with the results, though I have to admit- the watercolour blue background and little wave motif at the bottom makes me more than just a little bit sad that a trip to the beach is not on the list for this year! The girls have asked repeatedly for that to make the list, but it just isn't in the cards for this summer with Bruce and I going on our Stake's pioneer trek. Plus, the kiddos and I heading to Utah for several weeks to visit my family where I will finish training for and then run my half marathon. Maybe next summer we can add renting a beach house to our list, but for now, the beachy colours will have to do!
